Well, well, well, Election Day is almost upon us, and I for one am going to be so glad that this race is finally over! This has been a nightmare in my opinion, and really all I am thinking about, is where I can go to dinner (since my kitchen in my condo will be a disaster after the move) and have a “HUGE” glass of cabernet to celebrate that this is over! I had a lot of fun partnering with White House Black Market on what to wear for Election Day. Of course I wanted to look Patriotic, but red is not my friend near my face. I can, however, wear burgundy which is one of my favorite colors for fall. I chose the burgundy turtleneck as my “reddish” color and turtlenecks are such a big statement piece right now. Thank God for them, because like a choker, they work wonders for a sagging neck!

I love the double breasted jacket I am wearing! It’s a really pretty wintery white, that will go with everything. I love an all winter white outfit, and love it mixed with black too! I will have this jacket on rotation for sure! The jeans are a “girlfriend” style that are really fun with a little bits of silvery threads running through the destroyed parts. Just a hint of glimmer! I have never really looked at the denim offered at White House Black Market, but they have some great jeans at such reasonable prices. I am a big fan of their jackets too! So this will be my “out to dinner” look for Tuesday, November 8! Patriotic, but so ready to call it a day on all of this! All Election Styles are available now.

This weekend was busy with packing and organizing. Ya’ll, I have so many beauty products that I am embarrassed, and wondering where in the world I am going to put them. I am one of those people, that if someone tells me a product will change my life, I buy it! Not only that, but how many tubes of mascara and lipstick does one need? I guess a lot, if you are looking in my drawers. Uggghhh! I haven’t much left my house since I have been back in Nashville this past week, because I left my car in Dallas. We did get out and go to an Engagement shower on Saturday night. I mention it, because it was the cutest idea and thought someone reading this would like the idea.

The shower invite said to bring a gift for the holidays for the couple. On the back of the invite, they gave you the holiday you were to buy for. The dress for the evening, was to dress in any holiday attire that you wanted. When we arrived at the house, they had blow up’s in the yard for every holiday. The hosts of the party were dressed in an full out Easter Bunny costume and Santa Claus. There were people in Halloween costumes, Valentine reds, a cupid, and lots of July 4th (which was what we did). My favorites were a girl dressed in a wedding dress and veil for “the first anniversary” and a couple dressed in doctor’s scrubs for “birth”. I just thought it was the cutest idea!

Back to packing, I hope you all have a great Monday! Thank you so much for stopping by! xx
