WHEN IN TEXAS…TEXAS TUXEDO

Hi Everyone! I hope your week is going great so far! I went to Dallas last Thursday, and returned back to Nashville last night. It was a jam packed five days for me. There was a hair appointment, meeting with friends and family, seeing those precious grand babies, and a conference.
I attended a conference called, Create and Cultivate with a few of my blogger friends. I’m not sure exactly how many women were actually there (maybe 200+), but we all showed up to learn! Create and Cultivate is a creative conference and online platform for female entrepreneurs in the digital world (I pretended to be an entrepreneur!!!). We heard some amazing speakers, that have become huge in this realm. I love attending these sort of conferences, because not only did I learn some very helpful information, but also got to meet the most fun and interesting people! If you are considering starting a business or blog, I highly recommend attending Create and Cultivate!
Now about this Texas Tuxedo, or denim on denim. Let’s face it, denim is a huge part of our lifestyles now, period! It has become a fashion staple that most of us live in, and it is totally appropriate to wear a Texas or Canadian Tuxedo. If you feel a little goofy sporting all denim, break it up with a sweater or a scarf. When wearing it, I wear two different shades of blue. I wore this sweater over my shirt, when a coat was too heavy last week. The fringe gives it a little punch! I would also wear a , , or a with this look.
I am off to a pilates lesson, then I am going to try to get organized and apply what I learned this past weekend. Later today, I am going for my first acupuncture sesh. I am a little nervous, but if I can handle botox, I can handle this…right? Hope you all have a day blessed with goodness!!!

Sweater is so cute! Curious how you felt about acupuncture. I tried it this year. Not painful at all and very relaxing actually, but in the end I felt I could use that hour in a more productive way! I do have friends that swear by it.

Thank you Paula! I love it!!! Well, it was actually a little painful in places, especially around my spine. I kind of feel like you do, but, it may have helped a problem I have. I have horrible IBS, and it may have been helpful…jury is still out! Thank you so much for your comment and reading the blog!!! xoxo
