Hi Everyone! Hope you are ready for August, because it’s here! I can’t believe how fast this year is going by, and before you know it…it will be holiday season (YIKES!). Today, the Chic At Every Age group is featuring a scarf. Now sometimes life gets really busy and overwhelming, and picking out an outfit might be the least important decision you need to make. This is where a scarf can come in very handy. All you need is a white tee, a pair of jeans, and a scarf! As you can see in the photos of all of us, a tee and scarf look great with all types of denim. It adds a bit of “french girl” vibe, and makes something so simple look a bit more polished. I am a big believer in a scarf or a choker (as I mentioned HERE before), for hiding the “what the hell happened to my neck”! And…you don’t have to spend much on scarves. The scarf we are wearing is only $18. I also love this one!

Me- I added a long black vest to my tee, to show how adding another element (without much thought) can dress up the look.

We got in from an amazing long weekend in Nantucket last night. As I said in my last post, I had never been before. We stayed at friends of ours home, and boy, what a beautiful home it is! There were three other couples invited that we did not know ( Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Fort Worth) I left the weekend feeling like I had six new best friends. We ate a lot, talked a lot, and laughed a whole lot! Nantucket is gorgeous, but I honestly didn’t get to see a lot of it. It rained most of the day on Friday, which meant a boozy long lunch and nap. Saturday was spent all day on the beach, and yesterday was a travel day. Anyway, it was great fun and I am ready to return next summer!!!
