CHIC AT EVERY AGE// ONE SHOULDER TOP
Good Morning Everyone! It’s another Chic at Every Age post, and today we are featuring this one shoulder top. We have decided that we will each pick a piece or trend to feature, and our 20 something, Brooke, chose this top. To be honest, I kind of felt about this top like I first did about off the shoulder tops, maybe not quite on board. But the trend has grown to epic proportions, even going into Fall, and I am thinking that this trend might be the same. What are your thoughts on this top and trend? I am definitely more streamlined in my style, and I kind of felt like a cupcake when I put this on (I didn’t even get a chance to look in the mirror because Heather brought it to me, and I put it on in the car). The first time I saw myself in it, was when I got these pictures back. All in all, it looks a lot better on than I thought it would. If you are wanting to try the trend, this top is on sale for $79.
I very much like the way that Brooke- One Small Blonde paired hers with shorts. Of course, it looks great on her 20 something self! The days of having beautiful smooth legs!!!
Sam- Style of Sam, looks adorable in her cropped pants and neutral pallet. Sam always looks sophisticated and chic! How does she pull that off in the back seat of her car…with her three year old in tow?
Heather- So Heather, chose to pair her top with ripped black jeans, platforms, and a choker. Always looking like she just stepped out of a magazine…and yes, she always looks like this!
I decided to dress the top up with a pair of skinny black pants, something I would wear out to dinner. I have worn so much black and white lately, that I wanted a different color shoe to pair with it. I know that my shoes are on the expensive side, but I have worn them so much that if you figure it on a cost per use they are a steal!!! Plus, they are so comfortable!
What are some trends that you all would like to see? I would love to get your suggestions. Sometimes we are brain dead and can’t think. It would be great to have a readers list of items or trends.

Cathy, I think you look elegant in this outfit. I am like you and prefer streamlined looks, but with your tall, slim body, and keeping it to just sleek black jeans and (gorgeous) black bag with those great shoes, you look fantastic. You let the top be the big, bright star and kept everything else skinny and minimal to balance it out. What a challenge to pull that look together without benefit of trying it on first. I absolutely love this top. I have hesitated to buy a one shoulder, but this really looks sophisticated and I thought everyone put it together nicely. Problem is I immediately went to shop the top and it is already sold out and you just posted today?. I was really disappointed!
