CAMEL AND STRIPES
Hi, Everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was fairly low key! I took dinner over to my parent’s on Friday night and hung out with them. Saturday was filled with errands and a little hair color refresher. Saturday night I went to dinner with some of my best blogger buddies and a few other friends to celebrate my friend Tiffany of Street Style Squad’s first blogger anniversary. We went to a fav spot in Dallas called Shinsei. I love this spot for amazing sushi! It was so fun chatting and celebrating with such sweet women! Might have had a little too much vino!
So, I mentioned on my blog post, Friday, that it is so hard to dress this time of the year. I have had this camel jacket in my closet for about three or four years. It is still on the J.Crew website and I couldn’t be happier! That means to me, that it was a good buy and a classic piece. I paired it with this striped sweater that has an embellished neckline. It gives the jacket a little more of a Spring feel. I will wear this jacket all Spring with a white top underneath or on top of white jeans. Camel can be worn all year round, so until it gets too hot, this will be on rotation.
I wish these loafers will still available, but there are so many cute leopard print shoes available. I can not get enough leopard EVER! It’s my favorite color! If you don’t have a pair of leopard shoes, I would get a pair. They go with everything!
Did you all watch The Oscar’s last night? I turned the television off right after they announced LaLa Land and missed the whole cluster you know what! Hailee Steinfeld, Emma Stone, and Nicole Kidman were my favorite dressed. I was really not blown away by any of them, to tell the truth!
I’m out the door this morning to get a birthday cake for my youngest son’s birthday celebration tonight, then Bible Study, and a tour of a building I want to move my parents into. I am praying that this works out and we can get this apartment for them!
Make it a great Monday! Thank you so much for reading! xx

I only watched the part where something went wrong….
I love camel, I love boots and belts and bags in camel. But to combine this blazer with the stripes makes a great look!
