CHECKS AND EMBROIDERED HEM
Good Morning! How is everyone? I hope you all had a great weekend! Another (sort of) low key one for me. Both nights were a bit boring, but I was very happy to have them that way. I got back from Austin early evening on Friday and met at my parent’s house for dinner. Saturday I went to the Dina Mackney trunk show, then came home and never moved from the couch. We watched a movie, “Office Christmas Party” and it was awful! I love Jason Bateman and Jennifer Anniston, but this was a snoozer! Yesterday I spent the whole afternoon with my daughter in law and grandchildren at the most elaborate Easter Egg hunt I’ve ever been to. It was about an hour outside of Dallas on the prettiest property, with the Easter Bunny, baby chicks, food trucks, candy table, and of course the hunt. We all had so much fun, especially the kids. There was more candy consumed than Halloween!
Today I am wearing these cropped bootcut jeans with a boho embroidered hem. I paired it with a blue and white check shirt (which I have in several colors) and the cutest velvet crisscross slides. I received these beautiful earrings from a brand called Liza Schwartz. They are rose gold and are beautifully simple and so wearable. I have so many pairs of white jeans, mostly skinny, but cropped and bootcut too. I saw these, and they were so different than anything I had in my closet. I will wear these jeans with solid and stripe tops too. They are definitely a statement jean!
Tomorrow morning I have my big oncology appointment. I get a wee bit nervous when I go. If you are new to reading this blog, I will be a four-year survivor of Triple Negative Breast Cancer in July. It’s a very aggressive form, and I am very blessed to be here. I go in about every four months to one of my doctors, but this appointment is the blood work, and chest x-ray. I have never had a scan, so I just have to trust that all is a-okay! I will let you all know how it goes!
I had to include this picture of my grand babies from the Easter Egg Hunt yesterday. Of course, I think they are THE most gorgeous children ever in the world! Have a great day everyone! Thank you so much for reading! xx

I ‘m sure you will be fine. Prayers for a good report!
I started reading toward the end of your cancer story. I remember you wearing some edgier than usual styles and I thought that was great!

See yourself walking out of the office with a good report. I always have a difficult time with the waiting for results of tests on other body parts. I try to focus on all the good, count my blessings and go with a positive attitude and the confidence that I can handle anything one day at at time. I’ll be thinking of you and sending up a prayer.

Hi, Theresa! Thank you so much, and congratulations to you for hitting the 5-year mark! That is such a fantastic milestone! I don’t want time to go by faster, but I can’t wait to hit 5 years. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers! Did you have breast cancer? I have loved writing this blog for the camaraderie of cancer survivors and it’s so nice to correspond.
Thank you for your comments on my jeans. They are so cute and different. I so appreciate you taking the time to comment. Please stay in touch, and may God bless and keep you very healthy! xoxo

Sending prayers and good wishes. Love your look (as always!). I actually bought this shirt and returned it for the Tradlands version. Have you ever looked at their products? The quality is incredibly high and I love that they are sustainably made in the US.

White skinny jeans and white-black gingham print shirt is a nice combo. In love with criss-cross sandals and rounded sunglasses.

Praying and wishing you well. I adore your appearance, as usual. In reality, I purchased this jersey and sent it back for the Tradlands one. Have you ever examined their offerings? They are really well built, and I appreciate that they are produced responsibly in build now gg
