Happy Friday! I have been be-bopping around town wearing a few Spring pieces because it has felt like it, and maybe even a bit like the beginnings of Summer here in Dallas. It was 86 degrees yesterday! The weather is crazy! It supposed to be 39 tonight! What do you wear when it is still technically Winter, but behaving like Spring? I broke out this adorable stripe sweater and espadrilles from Vionic.

 

 

I have several striped sweaters and tees, but I loved the rose gold buttons on this one. This may be a little too “Springy” for colder climates, but it is the perfect weight for Dallas, and if I don’t wear it now, it will be too hot to even consider putting it on soon enough. This sweater would be a great piece for a beach vacation to wear at night, as it is 100% cotton. The espadrilles are so cute and extremely comfortable. They almost feel like a ” house slipper”.  They are designed to hug your arches and have an Orthaheel Technology that helps support natural alignment. I love the saddle color leather strip going down the back of them. They come in a coral, sand and navy stripe as well.

I am flying solo this weekend. My husband left yesterday for Nashville to play in a golf tournament. I was supposed to go, but can’t leave my dogs with their grandparents right now. My parents always keep them, but my dad recently got out of the hospital and I don’t want him to trip on one of them. I am sad that I don’t get to see my friends, but am glad to have a weekend to do nothing. I feel like life is going by way too fast, and I’m constantly rushing. I’m going to lay low!
